I'd love to hear suggestions on how our talents might be used to do missionary work.
What are your talents? And how might you use them to:
It is my belief that if we customize our missionary work by using our individual talents, our missionary efforts will become more enjoyable and successful. What are your thoughts?

This may seem like a strange talent for helping people, but I feel that i "get people" and am understanding and not judgmental. I think the best thing to do for others is to show understanding when they are struggling or not. I feel that when someone trusts you enough to tell you information on what they believe, even if it's not exactly what you believe, that you have developed a friendship that is much greater than anything. I do not think we should agree with what they say if we don't believe it, but take into consideration where they are from, why they feel that way, and what the have learned previously, and where they are currently in their life. We all have different backgrounds.
I think the best missionary work is to be a good friend to others. Once you have developed friendship and trust, being a good example naturally will come. This is the type of missionary work I believe in on a day to day basis. I don't believe it is hard. I don't believe it is something that you need to search for. I think it is something that happens naturally with people; however, embracing the friendship and trust does not come naturally. It may take time and effort. But, I truly believe that taking the opportunity to get to know other people, even if you don't think you will get alone, is the best way to truly reach out to others.
