This years theme for Time Out For Women is Choose To Become. We were challenged to become. I have chosen to become a daughter of God with more Knowledge of my Savior and Redeemer. In order to do this the first step is to do. In order to become something we must do something, so I have started by making sure my environment is one that the spirit may be with me at all times and in all things and in all places. Such as when I am at work, I listen to my mp3 player with uplifting spiritual music and read my scriptures during my breaks. In the evening time when all in the house are asleep I turn on the stereo playing hymns at a low soft volume and let it play throughout the night so that the spirit is invited into the home while all sleep and then we all wake up to a very pleasant atmosphere. By creating my environment to be one that the Savoir can be with me at all times I open myself up to more being able to listen more closely to him teaching me his way. This is one way I can gain more knowledge of the Lord by drawing closer to him and gaining that personal relationship with him. I would like to extend this challenge and ask all to ponder about what they want to become and start to become.

I am so grateful for your thoughts. This is so true. Alone time with the Savoir is what I do. Whether it's going to the temple or on my way to work pondering about what the Lord would have me do today. And keeping him with me in my thoughts and heart throughout the day. As daughters of God it is essential that we keep our relationship close with our Heavenly Father so that we can do all that is required of us. It is up to us to lead and guide our family's and strengthen our husbands and protect our homes. Whether you are a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a Aunt or a Sister in Zion if we all keep close to the Lord there is no evil that can prevail. At times I feel the burden of carrying it alone since I am a single mom. But it is those moments when I noticed that the Lord is teaching me the most and strengthen me the most. As it has been said before "The daughters of God

are the Lord secret weapons. I pray that all the Sisters start to work together with even more urgency at building up The Kingdom of God here on Earth. Just like you said. May we all become what we are meant to become NOW --- not sometime in the future.

Can u pls. share w/me on how to write a gratitude journal? Does it have to be long, such as a diary?
No it doesn't have to be long.I have a few different journals I keep. I have my Temple journal in which I keep in my car. This way when I come out of the Temple I am able to write about what I have learned and any inspiration I received while I was in there. Another is my carry around journal. This is just a small notebook which I keep on me at all times so that I am prepared to write down at a moment notice any inspiration the Lord may give to me. I have come to learn that you never know when the Lord will instruct one or teach one so I have learned to be prepared with my carry around at all times even when I am at work. I also have my daily journal of which at the end of the night I write down the days events and the things I have learned, this is where I also write down the things that I am grateful for for that day. I have found that when I look at the days events as lessons of the day and not burdens, I am able to see more clearly of the answer to those lessons and and am able to receive those things with a pure heart and the fullness of the gift the Lord has blessed me with for that day. Even just writing down a list of the things one is grateful for and putting it on your bathroom mirror so that you can look at it each morning when you wake and each evening before you go to bed works great. I think sometime's we allow our lives to over take us instead of us taking control of our lives. Being grateful each day is one way of us controlling our happiness in our lives. This is a blessing Heavenly Father gives us for carry our load with a heart full of gratitude.
