When I was converted when I was 17 years old, I did it for ALL the wrong reasons.  I wanted friends and I thought it was the best way to be apart of group. My hand had let go of the iron rod until I was 23 and I had my 1st son already with my ex-husband, divorced, and met now my wonderful, loving husband, Devan.  He was born into the church already and had fell off on to the beaten path as well.  My father was taking the two boys to church;then I followed.  The Lord had touched me; I knew then that THIS is the true church.  The Church of Jesus Christ was the only one and I had been brought home. After two years of being in the church I had my endowments; my husband started to investigate.  He attened church regurlarly and the Lord had touched him too In July of 2010 Devan adopted our oldest son and in Febuary of this year we were sealed as a family.  I know now that I really was baptized to be sealed in the church to my boys and my husband.

I converted after the man who became my husband asked me to take the missionary lessons.  I asked him what he wanted for Christmas and thats what he wanted.  I told him yes and started the lessons immediately.  It didnt take 2 weeks and I was convinced.  It was about 3 weeks after that and I was baptized.  I feel this was the best decision i could of made.  I m so happy with my decisons.  This past week I recieved my endowments.  AND got to go see Saturday morning session of General Conference.  What a truly blessing this church has become in my life!
