Canning _ RS Weekday Meeting Handout

Stephanie Kline did an outstanding job this Wednesday at our Relief Society Weekly Meeting on "Canning." Even the experienced canners who attended were impressed with the information she presented. I'm a "newby" and it was all good and extremely informative. Thank You Steaphanie. Canning recipes and a handout on reusable lids is attached to this comment. Just press the link above.

I agree with Gina. It was so wonderful to see all that the Relief Society has been involved in over the past years. What great women we have had to lead our stake over the years. To acknowledge the service and sacrifices that these great women have given in our behalf was  a tribute to them. The present Relief Society Presidency are following in the footsteps of our former leaders in giving service for each of the sisters in the stake, whether members or non-members.

Thanks Gina.  A comment like yours makes all the time that went into preparing the evening worth it.  I'm glad you enjoyed the evening.

What a wonderful evening we had tonight at the Stake's "Celebrating a Century of Service" presentation. The Stake Presidency did a wonderful job of showing us the wonderful service the Relief Society sisters have done over the last 102 years. They provided a wonderful powerpoint presentation, a beautiful musical number by the Egin Singing Mothers, with a closing message by President Walker . . . and as always great refreshments. Each ward in our stake had a presentation table for the service done in each ward. Our Relief Society Presidency did a great job with our ward's table -- we are a great ward!!! and although we are a new ward, we've done some remarkable things, have many wonderful serving sisters and we should be proud.

What a delightful evening!  Great "Make your Hearth Feel Good" ideas were shared tonight along with some fabulous food - love getting the recipes and handouts.  No winter blues here!!  Thanks to all of you that took the time to make goodies and prepare some fun ways to spend "Valentine's Day" and chase those Winter blues away!  Good Job!

Thanks, to whoever (whomever?) keeps the calendar current on this site. I was trying to find out when Stake Conference is, and the people that I asked didn't seem to know any more than I knew - and lo, and behold, here the date is - right on Relief Society Sisters calendar! Next time I want to know some important information, I'll check here first!

http://www.crayola.com/. This is a fun site. I was searching for spring coloring pages for my class at school. It's worth checking out. Grandkids,
kids or just big kids like me.
http://ldscoloringpages.net/ This site has coloring pictures and other
projects from the 'Friend' magazine. It's a great resource for Primary,
etc.
