My husband I where married for time and eternity on 28th June 1975.35 years ago today.
We where only 17 and 19 years old at the time. Our feelings for each other could not be put into words,we felt the deepest love and respect you could possibly feel for each other.even at such a tender age as we where .
It wasn't always an easy road getting to where we are now, being still married all these years down the track. We don't own a house, a good car,or beautiful furnishings, most of what we have has been second hand,we don't have money to spare in the bank. But after all this time we still have love and respect for each other .We still love to hold each others hands, still like to smooch up to each other every opportunity we get.
Ted and have always communicated well with each other,we know where the other person is , For example I wouldn't go to the shops with out telling him where I am.If we don't agree with some thing,we talk about it.If there is a question asked we make sure we respond,so the other knows that they were heard.I truly believe that communication plays the biggest roll in keeping husband and wives together.
I want to be with my husband for all eternity and I am so thankful for the blessing as members of the church we have and for the days like today.
I thank my Father In Heaven For this blessing he has given me.I hope if you are at all struggling, you communicate this to each other, that you will pray together, seek the help you may need so you can also be happy with your sweet heart.

Hello Ronda, this is a great testimony which strengthens my faith. I got married in 1999 and sealed in 2004. Sometimes it seems so tough to me to overcome each single day. We often got overrun from our everyday concerns and forget easily these simple words: Sorry, I love you, I miss you etc.
Thank for your words. That means that love is ETERNAL!
