Relief Society Sisters

What a wonderful Relief Society Meeting we were able to watch on Saturday night.  I loved President Uchtdorf's talk and how he used the Forget -Me -Not flower as a metaphor for his remarks. He reminded us that everyone has strengths and weaknesses- that no one is perfect, even those who may seem so.

He asked us to be patent with ourselves

Not to forget the difference between a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice

Forget not to be happy now.

Forget not the "Why" of the gospel

Forget not the Lord loves you.

He said quote.."the gospel is not an obligation, but a pathway leading to happinesss and peace in this life and glory and inexpressible fulfillment in the life to come"

"You may at times feel a little like the forget-me-not- insignificant, small, or tiny in comparison with others," But he added,  "I hope the forget -me-not will be a symbol of the little things that make your lives joyful and sweet"

This talk was amazing! I felt the spirit so strongly. This is one of my favorite talks of all time. We will be incorporating it into the theme for next year in Relief Society.
