I posted a note about some power point information I had.  If anyone wants a copy of a power Point for the Birthday Anniversary, I did one about "Blooming where you are planted" a history of blooming and how the Relief Society has bloomed.  I would be glad to send a copy to anyone who is interested.

Here's what we're doing...

Thursday, March 15 at 7pm —- Relief Society in the Here and Now —- Howell/Brighton Building

Help us remember and rejoice together as sisters in Christ as we celebrate another year in this great worldwide sisterhood known as Relief Society.  It is a history rich of not only hardy pioneers, but small and simple acts of love not recorded anywhere here on Earth, but of meaning in the lives of many.  We will embrace the 3-part purpose of Relief Society by enjoying some soup together while being filled spiritually, strengthening our families and homes and helping those in need by assembling Easter baskets for needy children.  We would appreciate any donations for the baskets (candy, toys, baskets, etc.).

It gives them place and position, where they grow as they exercise their talents. It gives them pride and direction in family life.
